Privacy Statement
Who we are
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare (“Neuropath,” “we”) operates neuropathbhc.org. This statement explains how this website handles information. How we use and protect patient health information in treatment is described separately in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available from our office on request.
Information you give us
When you use a form (Contact Us, appointment requests, referrals, recovery or SBIRT intake, NJ child-services assistance or job applications) we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone number and your message.
Please do not send detailed health information through general contact forms. Our clinical team will gather what is needed through secure channels.
Website chat
Our chat assistant is automated AI. It is not a clinician and is not for emergencies. Saved chat exchanges are kept privately so our team can follow up and improve answers.
Visits and approximate location
We record anonymous page visits with an approximate city, state and country, which our web host determines from the connection. We never store your full IP address, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use this information only to plan and improve our services.
How we use information
To respond to you, schedule care, review referrals and job applications, send the confirmation emails you request, and keep the website secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add form submitters to marketing lists.
Sharing
We share information only with team members who need it to help you, with service providers who host our website and send email on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
Security and retention
Information is stored with access limited to authorized staff. We keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was given or as the law requires.
Your New Jersey privacy rights
Under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act you may ask to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, get a copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. Send requests to info@neuropathbhc.org; we respond within 45 days, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete information you submitted through this website, or ask questions about this statement, by emailing info@neuropathbhc.org or calling us.
In an emergency
This website is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

We may update this statement. The date below shows the latest version.
